Responsibility and contact
The responsible operators of the NiRo Music website are Nick Heizmann and Robin Heizmann. They operate NiRo Music jointly as private individuals; NiRo Music has no separate company or legal form. Address: Ahornweg 9, 5022 Rombach, Switzerland. Please contact info@niromusic.com with questions about the processing of your personal data or other privacy matters.
Website operation and hosting
The website is hosted by Hostfactory in Switzerland. Accessing pages and files generates technical connection data, including IP address, time, requested address, response status and browser information. These data support delivery, security, error analysis and protection against misuse and may be stored in server logs.
Cover artwork, artist photographs, MP3 excerpts and lyrics PDFs are delivered through our own website. Access does not require consent to analytics or external media.
Necessary functions and local preferences
Technical cookies support the session, protection against forged requests (CSRF) and sign-in for authorised administrators. Session cookies contain a technical identifier; they do not serve optional audience measurement. The application is configured with a session lifetime of 120 minutes.
The release view and page-size preference may be saved in your browser’s local storage. These functional preferences are not transmitted to analytics services as a user profile. The protected admin area uses account credentials and permissions for secure website management; optional analytics is not loaded there.
Your choice about optional services
Google Analytics and Clicky are loaded only after you consent to “Analytics”. Embedded YouTube videos separately require consent to “External media”. You may decline both categories and continue to use the rest of the website, including search, audio excerpts and contact. Analytics is additionally disabled on the development and staging website.
Your choice is saved as niro.consent in your browser’s localStorage: version, necessary functions and your choices for analytics and external media. No personal consent ID or server-side user profile is created. Your choice remains until changed, browser storage is cleared or a new consent version requires another choice. If your browser cannot save the choice, it applies only to the current document.
You can change your choice at any time using “Cookie settings” in the footer. Withdrawal stops future analytics calls and removes embedded videos. It cannot recall data already sent. Accessible first-party analytics cookies are deleted where technically possible; our website cannot delete cookies belonging to other domains.
Google Analytics
After your analytics consent, we use Google Analytics 4 to evaluate website usage statistically. This processes visited pages, page titles and technical browser/device information. Connecting to Google also technically transmits your IP address. The analysis should not be regarded as completely anonymous. Google may use cookies to recognise a browser.
Our integration sends pageviews for internal navigation as well. Search terms, filter parameters and URL fragments are excluded from the page addresses we transmit. We do not transmit names, email addresses or admin identifiers as analytics user IDs. Our integration does not grant advertising storage or personalisation and disables Google Signals.
For users in Switzerland and the EEA, Google’s privacy policy identifies Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. Other Google companies, including Google LLC in the United States, may also be involved in processing.
Clicky
After your analytics consent, we also use Clicky by Roxr Software Ltd. (United States) to evaluate pageviews statistically. The visited page, its title and technical connection/browser data are transmitted. Search and filter parameters are excluded from the page addresses we transmit.
Our integration disables Clicky tracking cookies, heatmaps, automatic audio/video and link measurement, and periodic activity pings. This does not make the connection anonymous: the provider technically receives connection data, including the IP address. NiRo does not submit a personal user profile to Clicky.
YouTube and other external links
Before you consent to external media, we show local video placeholders. After consent, YouTube players load in privacy-enhanced mode through youtube-nocookie.com. YouTube or Google then receives technical data such as your IP address and browser information and may request further resources. Privacy-enhanced mode does not mean that no data are transmitted to Google. Videos do not start automatically.
Links to streaming services, shops, social networks or other websites open offerings of their respective operators. Their own privacy notices apply to their processing. We do not embed automatically loading social-media widgets for these links.

Contact and licensing enquiries
Contact and licensing features prepare an email in your own email application. The website does not send the message automatically or save the prepared enquiry in a web-form database. The information you provide is transmitted to NiRo only when you send the email.
We process your contact details and message to respond, assess a requested collaboration or licence, and handle it where applicable. Email communication involves the mail services used by you and by us.
Recipients, international processing and retention
Technical providers for hosting, email and the optional services you enable may receive data. Google and Clicky also process data outside Switzerland, particularly in the United States. Different privacy rules may apply there and access by authorities may be possible. See the providers’ privacy policies linked above for details of their processing.
Personal data are processed for the purposes described. Necessary retention depends on the relevant purpose, protection of our operations and applicable statutory retention or evidence requirements. You can delete local browser preferences in your browser at any time. Retention by third parties also depends on their service and account settings.
Your rights
Within the applicable data protection law, you may request information about the processing of your personal data and correction of inaccurate data. You may also request deletion or cessation of processing unless overriding statutory or other lawful grounds apply. Further rights, such as data delivery or portability, apply where provided by law.
Please contact info@niromusic.com to exercise your rights. Appropriate proof of identity may be needed to handle your request securely. You may also contact the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC). Where the EU General Data Protection Regulation applies to particular processing, its additional rights apply, including the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority.
You may withdraw voluntary consent to optional services at any time through Cookie settings, with effect for the future.
Changes
We may update this notice to reflect changed functions or legal requirements. The current version is available on this page. If optional services change materially, we request a new choice where required.
